1st Lt. Christopher Barnett

1st. Lt. Christopher W. Barnett served in the Louisiana Army National Guard, 1st Batallion, 156 Armor Regiment, 256th Brigade Combat Team. Christopher W. Barnett loved the troops he commanded and planned to join an active duty unit after finishing his tour in Iraq as a National Guardsman.

Corporal David S. Stewart

Returning home in June, 2003, he soon volunteered for a special training operation in Australia.  Completing that mission, he signed on active duty with the Inspector/Instructor Staff, 3rd Pltn. 4th AABN, Alpha Co, where he took pride in his work with the Marine Corps.

Specialist Matthew James King

Spc. Matthew James King of Abita Springs, LA served in the Army Active, C company, 2nd Battalion, 503 infantry of the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He was based in Vicenza, Italy.  On May 3, 2005 while deployed to the Argenedab River Valley, Afghanistan, Spc King, assistant gunner and team leader of 1st Platoon weapons squad, was called to assist scouts and special forces that were under heavy attack and needed immediate assistance.

Sgt. First Class Kurt Comeaux

Sgt. 1st Class Kurt J. Comeaux served in the La. Army National Guard, 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized) based in Lafayette, LA.

Corporal Jacob Schick

Cpl. Schick was born on April, 25 1982 in Bossier City, Louisiana.  Cpl. Schick then moved to Coppell, Texas where he played 5-5A football and was a captain of his team his senior year.  He then joined the Marine Corps in May of 2001 at the end of his senior year.   Cpl. Schick is a 3rd generation Marine following in the footsteps of his uncle who served in Vietnam and his grandfather who served in WWII.
