Marine Corporal, Michael Paul Savoie, 29, of Folsom, Louisiana has been deployed twice to Iraq. During both deployments he was injured. While serving as a machine gunner with Company A, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 2D Marines, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, on October 4, 2004, and while moving through the city of Haswah, Iraq, located south of the Baghdad in the “Triangle of Death”, Michael’s patrol was ambushed by a combination of improvised explosive devices (IED), rocket propelled grenades, machine gun and small arms fire.
My name is Hardy P. Mills IV. I was born in Azle TX, March 9th 1984 and raised in Weatherford, TX. I went into the Marines 12-30-2002. On June 29th of 2004, I was on base in Falluijah, Iraq and was on top of a gun truck, and me and a fellow marine were struck by a rocket propelled grenade (RPG). I was medevac to Germany and had multiple surgeries.
