"In the Company of Heroes" 2009

Support Our War Heroes is pleased to announce “In the Company of Heroes” 2009 Thursday evening, November 12, 2009, at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. “In the Company of Heroes” 2009 will honor military members from our region who have sustained life-altering injuries in Iraq or Afghanistan since 9/11/01.  Our honored guest speaker, Lt. General Russel L. Honoré, US Army (Ret), and our many sponsors and attendees, will pay tribute to our heroes. Guests will savor cuisine from New Orleans’ finest restaurants and enjoy open bar while taking in the museum exhibits and entertainment. 

Support Our War Heroes is a New Orleans area based 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization that assists service members with life-altering injuries, with any unmet needs. Outreach from Support Our War Heroes extends to service men and women from all branches of the United States military. “In the Company of Heroes” is the major fundraiser for the year, which helps to fund hero grant programs and scholarship programs for the dependent children of our heroes.
