Page 1 of 3 "In the Company of Heroes" 2008 A tribute to the service members from our region who have sustained
life altering injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan. 
On Thursday, November 6th, 2008 Support Our War Heroes hosted our 2nd In the Company of Heroes at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. We honored Staff Sergeant Christopher Babin, Corporal Jacob Schick, Corporal Michael Savoie, Corporal Justin Ray Mixon, Lance Corporal Casey Lynne Casanova and Corporal Hardy Mills III. Previous heroes and/or their families in attendance and honored were CW3 Michael Wells, Sergeant Jeffrey Lynn Kirk, Lance Corporal Justin McLeese, Corporal Matthew Cole, Sergeant Christopher Ramsey, Sergeant First Class Michael McNaughton, Staff Sergeant Jonathan Reed, Corporal David Stewart, Sergeant First Class Kurt Comeaux, and Specialist Matthew King. Our Master of Ceremonies for the event was Rear Admiral Tim McGee, and our Guest Speaker was Lt. Colonel Oliver North. New Orleans finest restaurants served their specialty dishes and the US Marine Corps Band provided entertainment. All in attendance were moved by the touching tributes to our heroes.
